Peaceful and Wild. Big Ku Lodge offers a full service, all inclusive, authentic wilderness experience with guided access in Katmai National Park.  This is a truly unique opportunity to immerse oneself in unsurpassed wilderness and adventure. Surrounded by rivers, lakes, a backdrop of snow covered mountains, and the prolific flora, migratory birds and active wildlife, there is never a loss for photographic subjects.

Big Ku Lodge has historically been a trophy fishing destination. In recent years it has become clear; the demand for wild places, free from modern society, is at an all time high. Big Ku’s location within Katmai, the intimacy of the lodge, and incredible wilderness experience available make it ideal for diversifying into this field of travel. Big Ku is now offering 3 night and 4 night trips to the lodge, specifically to accommodate families and photographers who are looking for a shorter trip. Click here to learn about our rates and reservations.

Guests will be flown into this diverse ecosystem by our state of the art amphibious Caravan, from Anchorage directly to the lodge which in itself is one of the most incredible flight seeing tours in Alaska.
